Happy B-Day to ME!!!

On Thursday night the 21st (Day before my B-Day) I had class from 5:15-7:45. I got a call from Josh right before class, he asked if I would help him put some closet doors on over at my parents house after class. Unfortunately I had a HUGE paper due the next day so I asked Josh if I could possibly do it w/ him later, he said... Ok.. haha. I go to class and in class there are 2 guys from my other class that the paper is due in, & they explained that the paper is not due, but that we are doing a partner review on the paper. So I was so relieved. I got out of class WAY early that day so I cruised home and no one was there. I text Taisha and asked her where she was, she said she had walked to her sisters house. (Which she has done before so it wasn't surprising) She asked me if I'd go pick up a camera lens from my dad I said sure, so I jumped in my car called Josh told him that I was going over to my parents anyway and I could help put the doors on. He said he'd meet me there, so I head out. I pulled up to my parents house and Joshs car was already there.. Wow Josh, you drove fast I though... I walk inside and my dad said, the lens is in my car in the garage. So I walked into the garage and many voices SHOUTED "Surprise!!!!" I've never had a surprise party and I've ALWAYS wanted one! :) I was shocked! No expression on my face I walked into the garage. Come to find out Taisha indeed had walked somewhere... But it wasn't her sisters house that is just right down the road. Taisha walked from our house in St. George to my parents house in Santa Clara... What a woman! (& she's hot too!) I had a fantastic birthday! Thanks guys!

Wife~! & if you are wondering what that dope red picture is that Paxten is holding, that is called a skin it! It has now been placed on my sweet little mini computer, so when I am at school everyone KNOWS that I am a TRUE Buccaneers fan! Thanks Josh and Em! (Other notes, Grama Lain and Grandpa Lawrence were kind enough to give me a PRETTY PENNY. & The next day Jessicas present that she got me came in the mail, the first season of the Mentalist! It is my all time FAVORITE show ever, and I have not seen a single episode from the first season. So I am so excited to get caught up!

We had a Photo Booth after food dessert and presents in some fun garb! It was really neat... That is a tie that Mack is wearing... It's bigger then he is.

Silver Monsters 2010

Soccer is here again!!! This year Paxten is the Silver Monsters. (Last year their team was the Soccer Monsters) Monsters are pretty sweet, and Pax definitely plays like a monster on the field! He was always good at offense, last year he averaged at least 3 goals a game, it could even be higher, I'm just being modest... But his biggest improvement this year that I noticed was he was an animal on D! He used to run to the goal and sit in front of it and wait for the ball, so far he has been on the attack, he always wanted the ball, because he REALLY wanted to score some goals! What a stud! Our little man is a BIG soccer player!

He is really good at running in the open field w/ the ball! He has really improved on his ball handling skills... I think he's on pace for a break out season... Again...

Father & Son Fishing Trip

Paxten and I went on a fishing trip up to Pine Valley on Friday morning. The last time that we went Pax had fun for about 20 min and then wanted to go home. This time was very different. We got there and the first thing that Paxten wanted to do was walk across the dam, and trudge though the water to get to the other side. (He had his new Tony Lama Boots on so he was really excited to use them.) We made it to the other side and started to fish, he was eating his octopus sour treats that we got at the gas station before we left, and I had my line in the water. We caught a fish pretty quick and he said that I could bring in the first fish, then we would take turns, me him me him and so on. . . I catch a fish about the size of my thumb, and when Pax reels in his first fish it was the biggest fish that I've ever seen out of Pine Valley. He did a heck of a job!

After our fishing we went for a mountain climb, again pax was really excited to try out his new boots!

We even climbed up over rocks to get to the top of the mountain.

Happy B-Day Taisha

It was Taishas B-Day on August 30th, she turned the grand ol'e age of 23. Happy Birthday my love~! You're super cool you're super hot, you're the girl I like a LOT!!! You're SUPER SUPER GIRL!!! We had a lot of fun on her B-Day, we had a whole weekend of good times. First we went up to the ranch and enjoyed a much cooler climate in Enterprise. We got to eat at the Corn Fest and also got a lot of good family time in up there. It was good to see some of her family that we don't get to see all the time like Bret and Michelle her moms sister. And of course it was great to see nana and papa up there. We even got to spend the night. Taisha Mack and I slept in a room and Pax and Zadic spent the night in Nanas room at her request. At about 10:00 that night Nana comes into our room and says, "Paxten is in here right? We said, "No, he's not." So she goes out and about 1o min later comes in and is like, "You're kidding me right? He is in here huh..." He really wasn't. So the WHOLE house is in an up roar! PAXTEN IS LOST!!! We look and look and look, yell his name, go in rooms that people are sleeping in and wake them up. NO SIGN OF HIM!!! Jaime throws his boots on and goes looking for him outside. (Paxten is scared of going outside w/o someone, so I knew that he wouldn't have done that.) So I go back into Nanas room and sure enough, he was hiding behind the couch... Little stinker! Needless to say, he was grounded... Fun times. :)

If you want to know how good of a gift Pax, Mack and I got for Taisha, just look at her face, that says it all!!! DQ Blizzard Maker! Stole the day!

Trisha and Mick got Taisha a SWEET Vacuum. I can't pronounce the name of it, it's called a Miele, to me that looks like it says Miley, like Miley Cyrus... So I call the Vacuum Hanna Montana. (It's such a cool vacuum that I got it home and vacuumed the whole house... That takes a pretty cool Vacuum to do that.)

Quail Lake Bound!!!

Went to the Quail lake on Thursday after work w/ D-Rock, Kirkn, Grama Lain, Jess-e-Rica, Lion, Truman, Cruzer, Paxtonian, and myself... What a blast! Derrick was watching his brothers boat for him while he is not in town and he was kind enough to let the Esplin's take advantage of his good fortune. Thanks Stout Family, all parties that were involved... :)

Grama Lain put Crus life jacket on for him when we got in the boat, as you can see that is a darling life jacket that he has on, however, when grama lain put it on, she put it on backwards... Cru looked like he was trying to eat the vest the whole time, thank goodness unkie J realized that it would probably fit better the other way... Kinda similar if you were to put your pants on backwards... It just works better when you do it the right way...

Pax and I swam and swam and swam. Paxten LOVED jumping off the boat into the water! He had a blast!

Taisha was so busy cleaning and organizing earlier that she forgot to make Paxten eat lunch. Thank goodness Grama Lain brought PP&J... It just happens to be Paxtens favorite meal of all time. Paxten didn't go hungry and we all enjoyed ourselves!

Sweetest Faces EVER? Maybe...

I've seen some pretty sweet faces in my life... Here are just a few of the sweet faces that Taisha, our Seed, and myself are capable of making... :) I'm sure that you are very jealous... If you are interested in lessons on making sweet faces Paxten will take you on as a client for a penny an hour. He works cheap and is very good at it! He also works for playtime at the park, playing legos w/ him, and cuddling in the middle of the summer when you don't want to be cuddled because it's a million degrees outside and you're already sweating... Who's face is the sweetest? You decide.

It's a darn good thing that babies are so dang cute, cuz they wouldn't stand a chance if they weren't... :) Love you Mack!
